About the Role

A supportive secondary school in Norfolk is seeking a passionate and motivated Food Technology Trainee Teacher to join its growing team through the Grad2Teach salaried teacher training programme.

This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate trainee, aspiring teacher, or career changer who wants to gain classroom experience while working towards becoming a fully qualified teacher. As a Phase One Trainee Teacher, you will support Food Technology lessons, develop practical classroom skills, and build confidence in delivering engaging learning experiences to secondary students.

The Grad2Teach programme offers a structured, salaried route into teaching, allowing trainees to earn while they learn. During Phase One, you will complete a Level 4 qualification focused on the Teaching Standards and Core Content Framework (CCF), preparing you for progression into Phase Two and a PGCE with Coventry University.

This graduate teaching role in Norfolk is ideal for someone passionate about food education, nutrition, practical learning, and inspiring young people through creative and engaging teaching.

  • Has strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Is enthusiastic about practical and creative learning environments
