About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen at a secondary school in Thetford, Norfolk, for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to train as a Food Technology teacher while gaining real classroom experience and working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a PGCE.

The Role:
As a Trainee Food Technology Teacher, you will work alongside experienced staff to deliver engaging, practical, and theory-based lessons in food preparation, nutrition, and healthy living. You will gradually build your teaching responsibilities while completing your training with Grad2Teach, a structured, salaried route into the teaching profession.

Who We’re Looking For:

A UK undergraduate degree (ideally in Food Science, Nutrition, Hospitality, or a related subject)

GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above in English and Mathematics

A genuine interest in teaching and education

Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn

A commitment to a teaching career within the subject of Food Technology
