The Grad2Teach Programme
This is not your standard route into teaching. Our two-phase salaried training programme is designed to provide real classroom experience alongside academic qualification. You will work towards a PGCE with QTS through our university partner, Coventry University.
Phase One

Teach with a reduced timetable while learning the craft of the classroom

Receive structured training aligned with the Teaching Standards and Core Content Framework

Work closely with mentors and fellow trainees
Phase Two

Take on your own full timetable (up to 18 hours per week)

Continue academic study and refine your practice

Finish the programme as a fully qualified teacher, ready for the next step in your career
What We’re Looking For

A degree in English or a related subject (minimum 2:2 preferred)

GCSEs in English and Maths (or willingness to complete them during training)

A genuine passion for education and subject knowledge

Dedication, resilience, and a desire to make a positive impact
