Grad2Teach Ltd is an Initial Teacher Training (ITT) provider which offers paid teacher training services to its partners, clients and training-seekers. The Company must process personal data (including sensitive personal data) so that it can provide these services &ndash; in doing so, the Company acts as a data controller. You may give your personal details to Grad2Teach directly, such as on an application or registration form or via our website, or we may collect them from another source such as a jobs board. Data retention Grad2Teach will retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purpose we collect it. Different laws may also require us to keep different data for different periods of time. For example, the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003, require us to keep work-seeker records for at least one year from (a) the date of their creation or (b) after the date on which we last provide you with work-finding services. We will hold this data for 7 years. We will keep personal data obtained from job boards that we subscribe to for 18 months from the date it was obtained. The reason for this is that trends in education show that candidates are more than likely to change jobs within the year. We will therefore contact you within that period about job opportunities. If we have no meaningful contact with you after this period, your data will be deleted. We will retain safeguarding information indefinitely. Chris Kinread is the Director of Grad2Teach, overseeing the development, growth and management of the programme. Before setting up Grad2Teach Chris had a career in Education recruitment. As the costs to schools increased and retention of staff fell, Chris began to wonder if there wasn&rsquo;t a different way to approach the problem. As a father of three and a governor of a primary school, he was keen to build a company that helped schools manage in a world of shrinking budgets and increased costs, whilst at the same time rescuing practitioners from the &lsquo;gig&rsquo; community. &nbsp;Chris believes that salaried routes are vital &ndash; otherwise, every teacher will be from a background where they can afford to take a year without pay, and not be representative of the students they teach.&nbsp;

Armed with a BA in Sports Coaching and Development from Solent University, Tom&rsquo;s background in Cricket, Swimming, Golf and a smorgasbord of other sports isn&rsquo;t just impressive&mdash;it&rsquo;s like having a mini-Olympics on his resume.Before joining Grad2Teach, Tom worked his magic as a Partnerships Executive at Super League Triathlon, where he perfected the art of convincing people to spend money to advertise in front of athletes that swim, bike, and run ridiculously short distances at 100mph for fun.&nbsp;Tom&rsquo;s coaching gig at Harris Academy Wimbledon made him realize that herding miniature cricket players isn&rsquo;t much different from managing trainees. Both require patience, a good sense of humor, and the ability to dodge the occasional flying object.&nbsp; His passion for sports and its positive impact on health, education, and social inclusion drives his commitment to matching trainees with their "forever schools," ensuring they thrive and make a lasting impact. Tom&rsquo;s ability to build strategic relationships and engage diverse audiences makes him adept at understanding the needs of schools and the potential of trainees.&nbsp;
