The Role: Resident Fellow (English – Grad2Teach)
This full-time, salaried role provides hands-on experience in both the classroom and boarding life of the college. As an English Resident Fellow, you’ll:
Academic Support

Support and deliver English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

Lead small group tutorials and interventions to support student progress

Gain classroom experience under the guidance of expert mentors

Begin your formal teacher training while progressing toward QTS and PGCE with Grad2Teach
Boarding & Pastoral Support

Live on-site and support students in one of the college’s boarding houses

Help organise and run evening routines, activities, and weekend programmes

Play a key role in student wellbeing and development beyond the classroom

Who We’re Looking For
To be eligible for this role and the Grad2Teach programme, you should:

Hold a UK undergraduate degree in English, English Literature, or a closely related subject

Have GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above in English and Mathematics

Be committed to a career in teaching and excited to gain practical experience
