About the Role

As a Computer Science Trainee Teacher, you will work within a secondary school environment supporting pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4 while developing your teaching practice through Grad2Teach’s structured training pathway.

This salaried graduate teaching role allows you to:

• Earn while you train
• Gain hands-on classroom experience

• Work towards a Level 4 qualification during Phase One
• Progress onto a PGCE with QTS through Coventry University

You will initially support teaching and learning in Computer Science lessons, assist with programming and digital literacy activities, and gradually take on increased classroom responsibility as your confidence grows.

Training & Progression

Grad2Teach is a salaried initial teacher training programme designed to help aspiring teachers develop confidently within schools.

Phase One

During Phase One you will:

• Receive mentoring and coaching support
• Build evidence against the Teachers’ Standards

Phase Two

Once ready, you will progress onto:

• A PGCE with QTS through Coventry University
