Grad2Teach have been asked to recruit a trainee Media teacher for a college in South London who have been working with us for a number of years. The post of trainee Media teacher is open to Media graduates who have some experience of working in secondary or further education settings. Media graduates applying to both our two and one-year courses would be suitable for this opportunity.
The college was described by Ofsted as “an outstanding sixth form college, students’ achievement is outstanding”. It was also given outstanding in all Ofsted categories. In line with its mission, the college focuses on providing courses for students aged 16 to 19, mainly at level 3, with some provision at level 2. Nearly half of the college’s students are recruited from 5 partner schools; the remainder are attracted from state and independent schools in the local area and from further afield.
All of our training takes place during the half-term holidays. This means you can work at your school full-time, earn a full-time salary, and train to be a qualified teacher at the same time! You do not need prior school experience to train, but you will need:

Candidates with previous job titles and experience including; Teaching Graduate, Trainee Teacher, ITT, Initial Teacher Training, PGCE, Teacher Training, Primary Teacher Training, Secondary Teacher Training, Graduate Teacher, may also be considered.
Requirements
To be eligible for this programme you must meet the following requirements:
Have determination, resilience and a patient, caring attitude.
Have a relevant, university degree with a minimum of a 2:2 classification.
Have at least one year of experience in a UK classroom
Have the confidence and ability to lead the class.
Be able to demonstrate your resilience.
Be able to train across all key stages to broaden your skillset.
