An Outstanding primary school in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking to recruit graduates of any discipline to train with us, for a position that has arisen for January 2023. The position of Trainee Primary Teacher is a two-year, salaried course. This opportunity would be best suited to an applicant who can demonstrate sound, school-based, experience and supply excellent references. Your main tasks will consist of creating engaging lessons, encouraging the students to generate their own questions, and helping them build lifelong learning habits. If this interests you, then apply now through Grad2Teach to take the first step to becoming a qualified educator through our Salaried Teacher Training programme.
At the heart of this ‘Outstanding’ School is the belief that all students can be successful if they show real effort and determination to do their best. The success of thousands of former and current students stands as testament to the sustained excellence which has placed the school in the top 1% nationally for pupil progress for the last five years. Every member of the team at this School is expected to ‘go the extra mile’ and push themselves to the limits of performance and it is seen as a key indicator of the school’s continued progression that when teachers leave, it tends to be to take on leadership roles elsewhere. The Head Teacher and Governors are proud of the low staff turnover rates at this school and believe these are driven by their consistent focus on CPD and internal promotion.
