Salaried Teacher Training – Religious Studies
£19,000 - £20,000 FTE
About the job
We have partnered with an excellent Secondary school located in the heart of London, and they are looking for a thought-provoking religious studies graduate to become a part of their wonderful team of teachers starting September 2022.
Does the world of religion and belief fascinate you?
Would you like to teach children about the impact religion has had on the world we live in?
Does a Salaried Teacher Training Programme sound like the right pathway for you?
If you answered yes to all the questions above, then Grad2Teach is here to help you take the next step to become a teacher through our Salaried Teacher Training programme.
Religious Studies is often overlooked as an ‘important’ subject in school, and this school is looking for a trainee who will reverse that. They need someone who will provoke their students into thinking deeper about the role religion has played in human history. The ideal candidate would be patient, determined, and compassionate. Maintaining a classroom is no simple task and these qualities will be needed to help convey what you’re teaching to the children in a way that leaves an impression on them. This school serves a diverse community in East London and maintains a strong bond with that community through outreach programmes and events they host on school grounds such as fairs and sports days. They are welcoming and accommodating and the trainee they want will need to be the same. If this position sounds ideal to you, then apply now.
