One of our partner secondary schools in Northamptonshire is currently recruiting for a graduate in Mathematics to take up a Trainee Maths Teacher opportunity in January 2023. The position of Trainee Maths Teacher is a full-time salaried position, where the successful trainee will be an applicant who has experience in the U.K. classroom. Your main tasks will consist of creating engaging lessons, showing your students the importance of maths in our everyday lives, and encouraging them to generate their own questions. To be eligible for this programme you must meet the following requirements:
Have determination, resilience, and a patient, caring attitude.
Have a relevant university degree with a minimum of a 2:2 classification.
Preferably some experience in a UK classroom.
Have the confidence and ability to lead the class.

Attend 6 training days with our partner university

Cover up to 90% of a teaching timetable within a classroom
Work under a dedicated learning mentor who will guide and advise you along your journey
