About the job

“A good teacher must know the rules; a good pupil, the exceptions.” – Martin H. Fischer

We have partnered with a primary school in Hertfordshire that is looking for an experienced Primary trainee teacher to start in April 2022. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in teaching that will be assessed upon the success of your initial application. You will need to display problem-solving skills, quick thinking, and creatively structured lessons. You are responsible for helping your pupils begin exploring the world around them through subjects in the curriculum, but you will be doing more than that. You will be helping to feed their curiosity, engage in challenges and, gradually, encourage them to develop lifelong learning habits. If this position sounds perfect for you, then Grad2Teach is here to help you take the next step to become a qualified educator through our Salaried Teacher Training programme.

This is a ‘Good’ school, where all pupils expect to do well, and parents offer staunch support in encouraging hard work and good behaviour. Widely recognised for delivering excellent teacher inductions, the school is proud of its record of continuing to support the CPD of staff at all levels. The Head Teacher and Governors take a modern approach to delivering the curriculum, promoting the use of every available resource to support not only academic achievement but the development of skills for life. With a thriving enrichment and extra-curricular programme, every member of staff at this school is aware of the importance of their contribution to the all-around development of students as they make their way into the adult world. If this position sounds perfect for you, then apply now.
