About the job
We are working with a number of Primary Schools in London and the surrounding areas looking for good quality, experienced graduates to begin the Grad2Teach two-year programme in September 2021. Are you a Teaching Assistant with a real passion to share and educate young people? Our partner schools are varied and require you to be patient hard working and dedicated. As a trainee teacher no two days are the same, you need to be confident and have excellent communication skills.
If you’re a determined, passionate and self-reflective graduate looking to start a career in teaching, Grad2Teach is your first step in the right direction. Our paid Initial Teacher Training programme offers a new opportunity to teach, train and – if successful – gain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). With Grad2Teach you will work to complete a one-or-two-year course, with a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE). You will gain experience working in at least two schools, earning a salary as you train. Upon passing the course, you will have completed your PGCE and be a qualified teacher with QTS.
This cluster of Primary Schools are rated ‘good’/’outstanding’ by Ofsted and the leadership teams place a strong focus on building on this rating in the future. Every child is encouraged to achieve the highest standards possible in an atmosphere where all success, great or small, is properly celebrated. Every child should learn to understand people with different needs, circumstances and beliefs in order to enable them to develop morally, culturally and spiritually, giving them the confidence to grow in responsibility and independence and equipping them for the journey of lifelong learning.
